Camel Spider
An Arachnid, but not really a spider. Non-venomous but a painful bite. US soldiers in Iraq put them in MRE boxes with a scorpion to fight it out and the scorpions always lost. Extremely fast on the ground for an insect. There's some in the US Southwest but get they confused with Vinagaroons and Jerusalem Crickets (Potato bugs).
