Two banks in France are rolling out new credit cards that change the 3 digit code on the back of the card every hour, for up to 3 years. When will this feature appear in the US? Hard to tell since banks and retailers here have lagged behind Europe and the rest of the world trying to get "Chip and PIN" technology in widespread use across the country. Major retailers like Walmart have it already, but many small businesses are still struggling to absorb the cost of installing new card readers that will accept Chip and PIN credit and debit cards.
